NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) -- For more than 60 years, North Myrtle Beach's Ocean Rescue squad has marked October for its annual fish fry fundraiser.
And this weekend, organizers were able to pull in more than $36,000 to benefit its operations.
"This was a great day for us and part of a yearly tradition that has been going on for 66 years here in North Myrtle Beach," event manager Mike Waugh said.
Roughly 2,000 meals were handed out during the event at Ocean Drive Elementary School.
