Samsung’s Galaxy S26 lineup may face a two-month delay, pushing the launch from the traditional January timeframe to March 2026 due to development and design issues, according to German publication Techmaniacs.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra has reportedly completed its development phase and is ready for production, while the base Galaxy S26 remains behind schedule, contributing to the expected delay.

The Ultra model is positioned as a notable upgrade, featuring a 10-bit display supporting one billion colours, an improvement over the 8-bit screen in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset paired with 12GB RAM.

Battery capacity remains at 5,000mAh, but charging speed increases to 60W, enabling 80% charge in approximately 30 minutes.
