A round of heavy rain -- and possible storms -- will race through New England Monday morning. While they may come too late for the busiest part of the morning commute, these downpours could be strong enough to cause ponding, slow traffic, or even cause you to pull over for a couple of minutes.
Accompanied by strong lift in the atmosphere, a vigorous front has been charging across the Northeast. The latest timing shows this front will cross our area between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday, driving the aforementioned downpours and storms.
