Big competitions are happening in Central Iowa! Newton High School is one of 25 schools around the country in the running to win a $25,000 stadium upgrade through T-Mobile's Friday Night 5G Lights Challenge. They need your help to win. Vote daily here until Friday, October 25th.

The Central Iowa High School Marching Band season is now done! The final competition took place at Ankeny Stadium, sponsored by AIM - Ankeny Instrumental Music Foundation. Here's a shout out to the bands who took the top spots in the competition in this week's Scholastic Spotlight.
