The Lake Minneola High School swim team made a splash at the Mid Florida Conference Championships on Saturday, October 18, turning in one of the most dominant performances in program history. Both the boys and girls teams captured first place overall, with the Hawks setting an astounding seven new school records and four new conference records along the way.
The boys team powered to victory with 560 points. That was 254 points ahead of the second-place finisher. The girls team claimed their title with 456 points, outpacing the runner-up by 168 points.
This was an incredible team effort. Every swimmer contributed, and the energy from start to finish was unmatched. Breaking this many records in one meet is a testament to their hard work. This team has really been impressive this season.
