Coventry City’s free-scoring start to the season has become the talk of the Championship with Frank Lampard’s men having taken their impressive goal tally to 29 at the weekend from their opening ten games.

The Sky Blues have three of the top four goal scorers in the league with Haji Wright leading the charts with eight (11 in all competitions), followed by Victor Torp and Brandon Thomas-Asante who each have six alongside Hull’s Oliver McBurnie.

The focus and excitement has, understandably, been at the front end of the pitch where City are hitting incredible heights despite the fact that star attacking midfielder Jack Rudoni – who bagged ten himself last season – has sat out the last four games, a sequence of four straight victories including 14 goals from six different scorers.
