A working mum-of-four on Universal Credit has claimed the Department for Work and Pensions system is "rigged" to make you "fail". The TikTok content creator, known as @uniquemisfit0, described the Universal Credit and DWP system as "a stressful mess".

The single mother opened up about the "crazy" system, which she believes makes it impossible for those trying to "do better in life". Having left a part-time role for a full-time job, she found herself "sanctioned" by the benefits system.

She was flagged as earning under what she "should be earning" and was told to "search for more work." She described the system as "one big stress," and said it made things "super hard" for her.
