A speeding young driver under the influence of cannabis killed his girlfriend by dangerous driving. Joshua Bromley was speeding at around 80mph in heavy rain and under the influence of cannabis when he lost control of his car on the A423 near Marton in November 2022.
Warwickshire Police said that the 25-year-old, who is from Wackrill Drive in Leamington Spa , had only passed his test just ten months earlier. Tragically his passenger, Jessica Lees from Stockton was left seriously injured in the collision.
The 27-year-old died later in hospital.
