A dog walker had a knife held to her throat at a park on Nuneaton's doorstep. The incident reportedly took place at Ansley village park, known as Ansley 'Rec, at the weekend.

A local, who has not been identified but was a woman, reported that around 11pm on Saturday (October 18) a knife was held to her throat. The suspect was reportedly a man.

It is understood that the resident contacted the police. Officers were scrambled to the area and carried out a search but no arrests were made.
