Knicks cut ties with 6-foot-6 former Warriors shooting guard

From experienced veterans to young, unproven players, the New York Knicks have made their share of roster cuts after the preseason.

A 6-foot-6 former Golden State Warriors shooting guard was one of the Knicks’ training camp contributors who didn’t do enough to convince the franchise to include him on its 15-man opening night roster.

“The New York Knicks Waive Donovan Williams,” the franchise's PR X/Twitter account made public last Thursday.

Williams, like Romeo Langford and Ibrahima Diallo, proved to be a prime sign-and-waive candidate for the Knicks, as his tenure in New York was only an hour long.
