TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Hundreds packed Cascades Park Sunday afternoon for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
Senior grassroots manager for American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) shared that this event helps those who are directly affected and even those who aren’t.
“For people going through cancer for the first time, there’s a lot of unknowns and individuals at this event who have been through it reaching out that hand,” Scott Goodlin said.
He shared that uplifting others can help them get through the tough battle.
“It can change your entire outlook on fighting the disease.”
Goodlin shared that it’s important to stay on top of your health at any age.
