WEST QUINCY, Mo. — A two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in West Quincy left six people with minor injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2016 Buick Regal driven by a 71-year-old Columbus, Ill., woman was heading south at 1:20 p.m. and failed to yield before striking a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 38-year-old Quincy, Ill., woman and heading west on U.S. 24.

The Buick’s driver was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy with minor injuries. Five passengers in the Chevrolet — a 67-year-old woman, a 16-year-old girl, two 14-year-old boys and an 11-year-old boy, all of Quincy — were taken by Adams County Ambulance to Blessing with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and Palmyra Fire Department.
