One woman has been arrested in connection to a shooting that left another woman hospitalized on Sunday in Savannah.
Just before 11 a.m., Chatham County police officers responded to the Thunderbird Motel on 4015 Ogeechee Road for reported gunfire.
An adult female victim was found with a gunshot wound to her leg. Detectives determined this was not a random act, as the victim and the shooter knew each other.
Shortly thereafter, detectives located the suspected shooter in a nearby wooded area.
Joceyln Comacho, 39, was charged with aggravated assault, possesion of a firearm during the commission of a felony and giving a false name.
Comacho was booked into the Chatham County Detention Center.
