INGLEWOOD, Calif. — DeForest Buckner dug deep.
Buckner, the Colts ’ defensive leader, has spent most of his season trying to bust through brick walls, the constant double teams opposing offenses keep sending his way.
The Chargers were no different.
Buckner spent most of Sunday’s 38-24 win battling two offensive linemen at once, trying to break through to take down Justin Herbert as the Los Angeles quarterback scrambled around, desperately trying to bring his Chargers back against the relentless onslaught of the Colts offense, the best offense in the NFL this season.
