The St. Patrick’s Grade 11 student is a four-time winner this fall after taking the senior boys’ race at the LKSSAA cross-country championship Thursday at Canatara Park. Article content Article content

“So far, I’m undefeated and hopefully keeping that until OFSAA,” he said. “I’ll see what happens at SWOSSAA.”

The SWOSSAA meet is this Thursday at Windsor’s Malden Park.

Capes completed the six-kilometre course at LKSSAA in 20:19 while battling bad cramps.

“I still pushed through it and I still came out with a decent time,” he said after winning by one minute 39 seconds over Fighting Irish teammate Ryan Ladouceur.
