A repeat DUI offender was arrested in Vernal for DUI last week. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, an officer noticed a vehicle located near 600 South 200 East with its engine running that left its parking spot with a sense of urgency when the officer neared the area. The officer began following the vehicle and observed it swerve into the oncoming lane, at which point the officer initiated a traffic stop. The driver was identified as 33-year-old Tyler Cook. The officer noted that Tyler was speaking with a slur and his eyes were red and glossy. Tyler said he had been drinking earlier that evening at a local bar before it closed for the night. Field Sobriety Tests were attempted which overall Tyler was unable to perform or did not pass. A records check showed that Tyler was an Alc
