A road in Gloucester city centre has been closed following a crash this afternoon (Monday), police have confirmed.
The two-vehicle collision was reported at 4.30pm, with police and the ambulance service called to the scene. A road closure was put in place on Stroud Road close to the Travelodge, and remains in place as of 6.45pm on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: "We were called at 4.30pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Stroud Road, near the Bristol Road junction. The road remains closed at this time, and may do for a while."
South Western Ambulance Service has also been contacted for comment.
