Former New York Govornor and present mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo mispronounced his rival Zohran Mamdani 's name and called him 'Mandami' on the MSNBC show when journalist Anand Giridharadas corrected him and reminded him that he must get the names right because he is looking to lead a very diverse city. In his tirade against Mamdani, Cuomo said 34-year-old 'Mandami' never had a job, never managed any thing and had the worst attendance record in the New York Assembly. "First of all, governor, it's Mamdani. This is a very big, diverse city you want to lead. We should get the names right," Giridharadas said as Cuomo looked on without making any acknowledgement.
