An NFL coach sees similarities between Drake Maye and a future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Maye is in his second NFL season and has taken a massive step this season. The sophomore quarterback threw for 222 touchdowns and two touchdowns in a 31-13 road win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

With the Patriots down 10-3, Maye went on a clinical drive, including a 19-yard run and a beautiful 22-yard completion to Mack Hollins, which was part of a 93-yard touchdown drive.

Following the game, an anonymous NFL coach spoke to The Athletic’s Mike Sando and compared Maye’s throws to Aaron Rodgers.

“That explosive (pass) to Hollins was (Aaron) Rodgers-like,” the coach said , in a piece published on Monday.
