The Clarksville football team defeated Collins-Maxwell 50-47 at home on Friday, October 17. The win secures the Indians a second place finish in their district, and will allow them to host their opening round matchup in the playoffs.

Although both teams had already clinched a playoff spot by finishing in the top three in their district, both Clarksville and Collins-Maxwell still had a lot to play for in their regular season finale. The winner would take second place in the district behind Gladbrook-Reinbeck, and would have a chance to host the opening round of the state playoffs next week.
