EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. — Police investigating a homicide in Luzerne County filed charges against a man accused of shooting a gun at the scene, though they have not formally accused him in the slaying.

Hafusulla Kareem Dunn, 36, is held without bail on charges of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and illegally possessing a firearm. Dunn, of Wilkes-Barre, is barred from owning a gun because of a 2014 drug case conviction.

The shooting early Sunday afternoon in Edwardsville left one person dead, another injured and shut down a swath of Main Street for hours. That's where and when a woman told state police investigators that Dunn shot a gun inside of her Main Street apartment.

Dunn, though charged with shooting a gun, is not charged with actually hurting anyone.
