Police sought the public’s help Monday finding a driver who fatally struck a pedestrian in Pacoima and fled the scene.
The victim, believed to be about 50 years old, was struck around 10 p.m. Sunday in the 13200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The man, whose name was not immediately available, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told a videographer the victim was hit by a white pickup that was last seen northbound on Sutter Avenue from Van Nuys Boulevard.
Anyone with information about the fatal hit and run was urged to call the LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division at 818-644-8045.
