The Chief Rabbi has paid tribute to Greater Manchester's 'world class' Jewish community after meeting King Charles at the scene of the synagogue attack .
Crowds gathered outside Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue, in Crumpsall , on Monday (October 20) as the King met victims of the Yom Kippur attack.
The monarch then moved on to Greater Manchester Police's headquarters in Newton Heath, where he met first responders from all three emergency services who attended the incident.
For Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis, it was an opportunity to meet members of the community that were directly affected by the October 2 attack, and to pay his own thanks to the people who rushed to help.
