Sinners was a hit right out of the gate, racking up critical acclaim and huge box-office returns . The demand for Ryan Coogler’s vampire tale saw it return to IMAX theaters not long after its initial run, and it kept playing on big screens even when its home release arrived. Now it’s taking a cue from another of the year’s biggest hits—Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters —and returning to theaters for Halloween.

The comparisons are a bit different, of course; KPop Demon Hunters is a Netflix movie that got elevated to theaters out of sheer popular demand, which also propelled its spooky season return (costumes and singing along encouraged).
