Microsoft Renews 44,700 SQFT Lease at Bellevue’s Lincoln Square North for LinkedIn Subsidiary

Microsoft Corp. continues to maintain its last major foothold in downtown Bellevue after shedding nearly 2.7 million square feet of local office space since 2023. The tech giant has renewed a 44,700-square-foot office lease for its LinkedIn subsidiary in the city’s Lincoln Square North tower at 700 Bellevue Way NE, according to industry reports. The lease renewal comes as Microsoft continues consolidating operations at its Redmond headquarters, which is undergoing a $5 billion renovation and expansion. The company decided in 2024 to retain the LinkedIn space at Lincoln Square North, where Microsoft was once the primary tenant before dramatically scaling back its Bellevue presence.
