CANTERBURY, N.H. (WWLP) - A Massachusetts driver died in a crash on Sunday following a police pursuit on I-93 in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire State Police stated that at approximately 12:51 a.m. on Sunday, a trooper observed a vehicle speeding on I-93 northbound near Exit 12 in Canterbury. The trooper attempted to perform a traffic stop, but the vehicle continued driving, resulting in a pursuit.

The vehicle was reportedly driving erratically and speeding up to 120 miles per hour. The driver approached Exit 18 and tried to take the off-ramp but lost control, going off-road.

State Police said that the vehicle then crossed the northbound on-ramp, going down an embankment and striking a tree. The driver was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the crash. Troopers and emergency responders
