Their Week 7 opponents are the Houston Texans (2-3), who are coming off their own bye week and looking for a third successive win to offset their surprising 0-3 start. A Seattle win would keep the team tied for first in the NFC West alongside the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers, but the 49ers have the head-to-head tiebreaker. A loss would put the Seahawks back by a game and potentially two in the loss column should the 49ers also beat the Texans in Week 8. This is not a season-defining game, but it’s nevertheless an important one to wrap up October.
