MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis police are investigating a shooting that has a man fighting for his life Monday afternoon.

Police were called to the scene at Summereast Apartments at Bartlett Road and Biscoe Avenue just before 1:30 p.m.

A man was shot and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say multiple suspects left the scene in a silver hatchback.

Police say the victim and suspects knew each other, but no further description is available.
