CLEVELAND, Ohio — Two Cleveland men died and two others were wounded in a shooting at a gas station early Saturday in the city’s Slavic Village neighborhood.

The office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner identified the victims as Bruce Charles Singleton, 46, and Deon Stallings, 37. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other men, ages 31 and 34, were also wounded and transported to the hospital.

The shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. at the Sunoco at Fleet Avenue and East 70th Street. Police responded after receiving reports of gunfire in the area.

Officers later determined that an altercation between several people had occurred at the gas station before the shooting.

Police recovered two firearms.
