COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Bartholomew Consolidated Schools bus has been involved in a crash just southeast of Columbus Monday afternoon. According to police, there were students on the bus during the crash.

One of the children suffered "very minor" injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

The crash happened off of State Road 46/State Street near the intersection with Heights Court, just across Clifty Creek from Columbus proper. The sheriff posted about the crash at 4 p.m. Oct. 20.

The only information the sheriff provided in his initial post was asking drivers to avoid the area.
