Stand-up comedian John Mulaney will make history when he headlines a show at Wrigley Field next summer, and fans will soon get their chance to buy tickets.
Mulaney, a Chicago-native who has become a comedy icon thanks to stand-up specials like “New in Town” and “Kid Gorgeous,” will embark on the second leg of his “Mister Whatever Tour” in early January, culminating with a history making headlining show at Wrigley Field in July.
According to the Cubs, Mulaney will be the first comedian to ever headline a show at the venerable ballpark when he takes the stage on Saturday, July 11.
In a press release, Live Nation announced that presale tickets for Mulaney’s Chicago show will go on sale on Tuesday at noon local time.
Pre-sales for the rest of the tour begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time
