A Greater Manchester Police officer who 'improperly' shared videos of police pursuits with a third party has been sacked from the force.

Now former PC Darren Edwards exchanged texts and messages 'over a protracted period' - with some of the content 'demonstrably and incontrovertibly grossly offensive', GMP's Chief Constable ruled after a misconduct hearing. Sir Stephen Watson, who chaired the hearing, said he found elements of the communications included 'racist and ableist language'.
