NATCHITOCHES, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The City of Natchitoches has announced a water outage impacting nearby homes and an apartment complex.

The city announced water service will be interrupted for residents from Fish Hatchery to Lakeview Apartments due to construction dismantling a water line on Woodyard Drive.

Affected streets include: • Woodyard Drive • Abbie Drive • Clarence Drive • Ouida Drive • Jackson Drive • Brewton Drive • Conville Circle • and Lakeview Drive.

Water will be unavailable on these streets until further notice.

City officials report that the Water Department is currently working on repairing the line.

Once repairs are completed, a boil advisory will be issued for the impacted areas.
