An NBA rookie has fallen afoul of the law just one day before the start of the 2025/26 season.
Indiana Pacers point guard Kam Jones must have been looking forward to his debut, which would have come later, following the team picking him in the second round of the draft this year. However, he has been arrested less than 48 hours before opening night, which might put that in jeopardy.
The guard is alleged to have led police on a brief chase after they attempted to pull him over for driving erratically on southbound Interstate 65 around 9:50 AM on Monday.
