A four-legged late-night TV star has died.

Jimmy Fallon is mourning the death of his beloved golden retriever, Gary, the Tonight Show host announced Monday.

Gary, in addition to being the family’s dog, was a regular part of The Tonight Show through the years after Fallon met Gary as a puppy while he was still the host of Late Night.
