ANN ARBOR — It’s Michigan-Michigan State week, so naturally Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore fielded several questions about the in-state rivalry. The game has often featured pre- and post-game issues over the last several years. Moore said repeatedly Monday that the extracurricular activity won’t help Michigan win and could even be detrimental.

Moore covered several other topics coming off Michigan’s win over Washington and in advance of Saturday’s showdown in East Lansing (7:45 p.m. ET, NBC). Here are some highlights.

Wearing the work jacket again

Moore stepped to the podium and tapped his jacket, the same one he wear a week prior to represent the Wolverines getting “back to work” after a tough loss.
