West Midlands Police have announced they are "keeping up the pressure against criminal activity" in Wolverhampton as part of a focus on certain "hotspot areas."

The force's Wolverhampton patrol team have been operating under a dedicated operation called Op Otternova, which has focussed on hotspot areas and led to arrests over vehicle, theft and drugs offences, say police.

Police bosses said "intense activity" has seen teams work together with dogs, traffic and armed response when needed, to focus in on places and spaces where there's reports of criminality.
