Television networks are finally catching up to Red -era Taylor Swift and getting obsessed with the Kennedy clan . Netflix confirmed on October 20 that it just green-lit a new show, titled Kennedy , focusing on the famous family. Based on Fredrik Logevall’s book JFK: Coming of Age in the American Century, 1917–1956 , the eight-episode first season will star Michael Fassbender as patriarch Joe Kennedy Sr. The series will be run and executive produced by Sam Shaw, best known for the series Manhattan , and directed by Another Round filmmaker Thomas Vinterberg.
