On Monday, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security held a press conference in Bradenton to provide updates on the ICE operations in our country.

Since President Trump took office, hundreds of thousands of immigrants have been arrested, including several recent ones in Sarasota County.

At a venue near the Manatee County Sheriffs Office, Homeland Security Secretary Krsit Noem said more than 480,000 arrests have been made under the Trump administration in a matter of nine months.

She announced that four men from different Latin American countries are facing charges ranging from sexual assault, incest with a minor, homicide, and domestic violence.
