CROWN HEIGHTS — NEARLY FOUR DOZEN tenants in Crown Heights gathered Wednesday night on Union Street to protest poor living conditions and unpaid utility bills tied to their landlord, Pinnacle Group, according to PIX11. Members of the Union of Pinnacle Tenants said Con Edison shut off power in two of the four buildings on Tuesday after the landlord failed to pay outstanding electric bills. Residents were warned they could pay the balance themselves and seek reimbursement later. Tenant organizer Mildred Ross said residents have endured months without proper repairs or communication.

“We’re trying to fight for our rights to live in this building like normal people,” Ross told PIX11.
