DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — An 18-year-old from Dickson County faces a slew of felony charges following a high-speed chase that spanned across two counties.
The Dickson County Sheriff's Department told News 2 the incident began after a Corvette was seen speeding recklessly in Dickson. However, due to the sheriff department's policy, deputies were prevented from chasing the vehicle.
Deputies in Dickson County reportedly issued a "Be on the Lookout" (BOLO), which was then picked up by authorities in White Bluff, who also chased the Corvette.
Once the Corvette entered Cheatham County, the Ashland City Police Department and Cheatham County Sheriff's Office took over.
