DENVER (KKTV) - Denver Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been suspended without pay for one game for unsportsmanlike conduct following Sunday’s game, according to ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The incident reportedly occurred after the end of the Broncos game against the New York Giants, where the Broncos beat the Giants 33 to 32.
Schefter said the NFL reported that Greenlaw had chased after referee Brad Allen and ‘verbally threatened’ him as he was leaving the field.
This means that Greenlaw will reportedly be unable to play in next Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, and will not be paid for that game.
Greenlaw should be eligible to return for the following game against the Houston Texans on November 2.
Greenlaw is reportedly trying to appeal the suspension. This wa
