COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A former Columbia Police Department officer has received additional charges related to alleged criminal sexual misconduct while on the job, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Caleb Hickmon-Payne was arrested and charged with criminal sexual misconduct in the third degree and misconduct in office on Monday.

Hickmon-Payne was previously arrested and charged in March of this year with assault and battery in the second degree and misconduct in office after allegedly propositioning an arrestee for sexual acts and then inappropriately touching her in multiple areas while she was handcuffed.
