Lions score quick on six-play, 69-yard opening drive as Goff and St. Brown connect for early lead

After Jared Goff misses Amon-Ra St. Brown on the first play of the game, Jahmyr Gibbs catches a quick pass and jukes out two Bucs defenders before getting ran out of bounds for a 30-yard reception. Gibbs then gets two straight carries for four total yards to make it third-and-6, where Goff throws the ball away but the Bucs are flagged for illegal contact, which gives the Lions a fresh set of downs at the Tampa Bay 30. After Gibbs gains three on a first-down run, Goff finds a wide-open St. Brown for a 27-yard touchdown, and the extra point is good as the Lions take an early 7-0 lead. (11:59)
