ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) - The rain is here in the Twin Tiers for several days in a row this week. There are a few chances for us to see some sunbreaks, but overall the rain is the headline as we slide our way into November.

Off-and-on rain showers continue into Monday evening. But, for the most part, the rain ends. Spotty showers from the wrap around moisture of the area of low pressure will be the best chance for more rain if at all.

In the meantime, enjoy a dry Diwali Monday night and more rain for the rest of the celebratory week. After a brief dance with high pressure on Tuesday, cooler and yet more unsettled weather moves in for the rest of the week with scattered showers Wednesday.
