EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation’s annual Options Fair will be held Thursday.

It allows 8th grade students to learn more about the innovative options available to them in high school.

These programs are an alternative to traditional high school and have a more specific approach to what they are interested in.

“We wanted to make sure students have a number of opportunities, to check out, to investigate, to see if that is something that will be really successful, allow them to be successful during their high school years,” says Jason Woebkenberg, EVSC Chief Communication Officer.

Officials also say that students going to the fair will be able to talk to students currently in the program to see if it will be right for them.
