The province’s best and brightest craft breweries were celebrated at this year’s B.C. Beer Awards.
Langley-based Camp Beer was named Brewery of the Year. The craft beer company, located at 19664 64th Ave. in Langley, was awarded the top honour during a ceremony held Oct. 17 in New Westminster.
The awards, founded in 2010, were launched at an event during the first Vancouver Craft Beer Week. Two years later, the B.C. Beer Awards became its own standalone event during B.C. Craft Beer Month (October). In 2024, the B.C. Craft Brewers Guild took over the event.
Created to recognize excellence in the B.C. craft brewing industry, winners are chosen by a panel of certified beer judges that changes every year.
