Bobby “Mo” Horne, a former WWE tag team champion who wrestled as part of the popular “Men on a Mission” duo in the 90s, has died at the age of 58.
Horne had been battling recent health issues, including a blood infection and pneumonia, and died Sunday in a Texas hospital where he had been receiving treatment for several months, according to a report posted by TMZ .
Horne achieved his greatest success in WWE as part of the “Men on a Mission” tag team alongside Mabel, capturing the tag team championship in 1994. He adopted the “Sir Mo” persona to match his partner’s royal character after Mabel won the “King of the Ring” tournament in 1995.
Horne began his professional wrestling career in 1991 as part of “The Harlem Knights” tag team and remained with WWE until 1996, the report said.
