LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people have been cited by Lexington police after parachuting off the Clays Ferry Bridge.
The Lexington Fire Department says it was dispatched around a little after 3 p.m. Monday for a report of someone injured from a fall.
According to a police sergeant at the scene, one person appeared to land safely in a grassy area, but the second may have taken a hard fall and landed in nearby trees, possibly breaking a leg.
Investigators say the pair got into a vehicle and drove off toward the Madison County side of the bridge.
Police say the two individuals were cited for second-degree criminal trespassing
