ELKINS, W. Va. –West Virginia State Police have identified the woman’s whose body was found in the road in Randolph County on Saturday.

The woman was identified as Amber N. Shreve, 43, of Mill Creek. Shreve’s body was found in the Mill Creek area. Troopers say Shreve was struck by a vehicle while on Back Road.

An investigation into the cause and the circumstances surrounding the incident is still under investigation.
